I feel in love with this fabric for the second layer because of this romantic detail

I went to a retreat in January and created this Minnesota quilt from a kit. Turned out very nice I had a little help sorting out the layout.

Getting the quarters into blocks was also quick and easy -- the seams nested perfectly and within a short while, all of my blocks were complete!

And yes I also want to make some form of wrought iron fence applique quilt. This is just the design from the base blocks in EQ7 from the block library.

I can't wait to do this method with jelly rolls and a full sized quilt!

As I said, I now have a house full of visitors, but Clue 5 was a pretty small one, so I managed to do it quickly while everyone was sleeping in.
